From time to time we are asked which software is best or easiest to use. We are happy to list some well known programs for you - but we don't endorse them as products, and we don't accept any liability for any damage caused by downloading, installing or using of them.

And please remember: they are not available for download from our servers, and we do not offer support for any of them. Some of the programs listed may require you pay for a license or a registration code.

Where can I get these programs?
We usually suggest looking for shareware or freeware software on legitimate download sites like downloads.com or tucows.com. Software that requires licensed usage can normally be obtained from an authorised distributor and, more often than not, directly from the publisher's web site. To find a publisher or distributor, try using a search engine (like Google or Altavista) to search for the product's name.

WARNING: Never download software via 'file sharing networks' (such as Kazaa, for example) or from so-called 'warez' web sites because you can't be sure that the software hasn't been tampered with. You could find your computer system, privacy, and data security is severely compromised by using such services or software downloads.
