Transferring Your Domain Names

What's this "domain transfer" thing all about?
It's simple enough once you know how the domain names are registered and maintained. For each type of domain name, there's a 'registry' database which keeps details of all the names ever registered. The names are sold to you by an authorised 'registrar' (like Just Space, for example). If you need to change any of the details held in the registry, your registrar is the only one who can do that for you. Now, if you want a different registrar to look after your domain name for any reason, you'll need to transfer the domain name to a new registrar of your choice. Simple!

Transferring domain names from other registrars
We will happily accept the responsibility of looking after your existing domain name(s) for you, if you want us to. This is sometimes called a "Transfer In". This is not a requirement for using our services! There is a small one-off fee for doing so.

Transferring domain names to other registrars
This is often also known as a "Transfer Out". If you would like another registrar to look after your domain name(s), instead of Just Space, we can make the necessary alterations for you, and transfer control of the domain name to any registrar of your choice. There is a small one-off fee for doing so.

We accept cheques, cash, direct bank transfers, UK & international money orders, major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Delta, American Express, JCB, Switch, Eurocard and Diners Club). If you choose not to use a credit card, your payment will need to be processed manually by us, and your order may be delayed. Payment must be received in full before orders can be processed.
